Rijeka sport Ltd. closed all facilities managing by company (Swimming complex Kantrida, Zamet Centre, and etc.) because the current pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the Republic of Croatia caused by SARS-CoV-2 virus strain.

As part of the visit to the City of Rijeka, representatives of the city of Dalian from the Republic of China had a tour of the Astronomical Center Rijeka on November 13, 2019. At the Centre they were presented programs, specialties and the facility itself. At the end of their visit, they watched a film From Earth to the Universe in Chinese language.
On the occasion of Earth Science Week, on Friday, October 18, 2019, at digital planetarium at Astronomical Centre Rijeka there will be show Earth - Jewel of the Universe at 6 pm.
On September 6, 2019, members of Freundeskreis Städtepartnerschaft Neuss & Rijeka visited Astronomical Centre Rijeka once again.
Premiere of the new film Dinosaurs at Dusk took place on Thursday, September 5, 2019, at 10 am at Astronomical Centre Rijeka.
Astronomical Centre Rijeka is certified place for young people and included into tourist map USE-IT Rijeka for the young and all who feels that way.
