In the latest edition of the German astronomical magazine VDS Journal für Astronomie (1/2017. Nr. 60) in the section dedicated to the international amateur astronomy, in the article about amateur astronomy in Croatia, Astronomical Centre Rijeka was mentioned.
Except the unique centre in Croatia that has both observatory and digital planetarium, in the article are also mentioned observatories in Pula, Mali Lošinj and desert Blaca on the island of Brač, and also Astronomical society "Leo Brenner" - Mali Lošinj, Astronomical society Višnjan, Astronomical society Istra - Pula, Academical astronomical society Rijeka, observatories in Pula, Višnjan, Tićan and Zagreb as well as planetarium at Techincal museum in Zagreb. Beside the mentioned, every important astronomical meeting in Croatia is mentioned, from Astronomical societies' meeting Croatia, Messer's marathon, Astrofest, Starparty Petrova Gora and 10 days of astronomy in Daruvar.
