From mid-June (June 10, 2020) to mid-September (September 19, 2020), Astronomical Center Rijeka will offer a program for foreign tourists in English. Program will be offering in regular citizenship monthly program and will starting at 9 p.m. every Wednesday.

As part of the visit to the City of Rijeka, representatives of the city of Dalian from the Republic of China had a tour of the Astronomical Center Rijeka on November 13, 2019. At the Centre they were presented programs, specialties and the facility itself. At the end of their visit, they watched a film From Earth to the Universe in Chinese language.
Premiere of the new film Dinosaurs at Dusk took place on Thursday, September 5, 2019, at 10 am at Astronomical Centre Rijeka.
Estonian Swimming Federation was at training camp during July at Swimming complex Kantrida preparing for the world competition.
The Kantrida Swimming Pools is a huge facility with five pools and many other services. It is avaliable for citizens as well during the summer. Foreign and domestic tourists can choose between Olympic pool 1 (indoors), Olympic pool 2 (outdoors), 25-metre pool and a children's pool.
