documentary – a classic work of popular astronomy (a 3D video animation – 33 minutes)
The Kantrida Swimming Pools complex, constructed in August 2008, in addition to its various sports facilities, offers the possibility of renting a conference room. With an overall surface of 90 sq m with seats arranged in a theatre style, it creates an attractive environment for any kind of meeting or congress and it can accommodate approximately 60 people.
For the young and wider public, this film explores the Galilean moons, Saturn's rings, spiral structure of galaxies, and many other discoveries these tools have made throughout the history of astronomy. How does a telescope work? How do the large observatories in the world use these instruments to explore the mysteries of the universe? What are the challenges of the latest generation of observatories? Soundtrack performed by the renownes London Symphony Orchestra.
Designed for the adult public, Vibrato presents a cosmic echo and it takes you on an unforgettable adventure beyond space and time. The virtual reality simulator sets out on an amazing journey of exploring the cosmic resonance, gama ray flashes, black holes, clusters of galaxies and other fascinating phenomena.
Do you dream about travelling to faraway places? Is the universe far enough for you? If this is the case, embark on your journey now. Point of departure is here - in the Astronomical Centre Rijeka.
