The Sky Under Us

From the first year of operation, planetarium visitors every Friday regularly can see the live presentation- Guide to the night sky.  It shows the evening sky over Rijeka and every visitor can see sky of northern hemisphere.

In the live presentation Sky under us, visitors will be able to meet the sky of the southern hemisphere, and find out what can be seen in the sky that cannot otherwise able to be seen with our latitude, such as the Southern Cross, Toucan, Bird of Paradise, peacock, etc. Also, visitors will meet the brightest stars in the southern sky, Canopus, two known irregular galaxies, Large and Small Magellanic Cloud and many other celestial objects.
